As you get older many of the opportunities you get to be what you dreamt of becoming ‘when you grow up’ start to drift past you and you could be forgiven for entering a state of depression of self-pity. That is, if you’re the type to get hung up on these things.

However, these feelings soon disappear and may well be replaced with the idea of having a superkid of your own in the future… a mini you that is a genius at ‘something’ and through who’s talent you will live your dreams whilst theinadvertantly become the cash cow of the family and possibly the catalyst for the deterioration of the status quo.

Of course, it doesn’t always work out that way but watching this video of the nine-year-old ‘Japanese Messi’ gave me that small glimour of hope and you’ll know what I’m talking about.
